AMJ was proud to co-host - alongside the American Chamber of Commerce - an industry panel on PPP in Oman and the GCC. Our Projects Partner, Ravinder Singh was joined by Mona Hammadi a Dubai-based PPP lawyer, Ilyas Al Harthy of the Oman Ministry of Finance and Nadir Elhouni of the Daud Group in discussing lessons learned regionally and how Oman can best implement this important initiative. The panel discussed Oman’s PPP approach to encourage private participation, alongside practical steps to address common challenges through clearer approval and procurement processes, stronger inter-agency coordination and balanced risk allocation. The dialogue around PPP is strategic and fast moving and AMJ is delighted to be at the forefront of this debate.
