- Advised Standard Chartered Bank in relation to a proposed 14 year and 9 months amortising term loan facility of US$ 1,347,437,603 for the Government of the Sultanate of Oman, represented by its Ministry of Finance, financing the development of 7 infrastructure projects in the Special Economic Zone at Duqm, with the facility guaranteed by the Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency.
- Advising Solarwadi LLC on facilities from Bank Dhofar SAOG for two solar photovoltaic power plant projects in Oman to generate electricity for captive use, one for the German University of Technology in Oman and the other for the Arab Open University in Oman.
- Advised Ahli Bank SAOG as agent and the other finance parties in respect of a US$ 162,300,000 facility to Oman Air SAOC, to be used for the expansion of Oman Air’s fleet.

Andrew is a senior associate in AMJ’s banking and finance team and has extensive corporate lending and finance experience specialising in trade, acquisition and property financings, and has also worked on a wide number of asset, project and Islamic finance transactions.
Andrew practiced in London, Moscow and the British Virgin Islands, at major international law firms. He has particular experience of Eastern European and in particular the Russian and CIS markets having acted on a wide range of Russian, CIS and wider CEE transactions during his 10 years of practice in the region. Andrew is recognised by Chambers Global and has twice led transactions that have been awarded Deal of the Year by Trade Finance Magazine.

- Advised on the Ghubrah III Independent Water Project (IWP), a US$ 370 million project-financed transaction for a reverse-osmosis desalination plant in Oman with a capacity of 300,000 m³/day (expandable), under a 20-year concession, involving a consortium led by GS Inima, Aljomaih Energy & Water, and SOGEX Oman,.
- Advised the project company on a US$ 4,610,000,000 project financing for the Duqm Refinery Project in Oman, a 230,000 barrels-per-day refinery jointly developed by OQ and Kuwait Petroleum International, with financing provided by a syndicate of international and local lenders.
- Advised Majid Al Futtaim LLC in connection with an OMR 175 million term loan facility to finance the design, development, engineering, procurement, construction, equipment, testing, ownership and operation and maintenance of the Mall of Oman.
- Advised the finance parties in relation to an US$ 870,000,000 approx. financing for the engineering, procurement and construction of 3 hospitals in Oman, such loans to be made to the Government of the Sultanate of Oman, represented by its Ministry of Finance.
- Advised the lenders on the restructuring of the Sohar IWPP Project, a 585 MW combined-cycle gas-fired power plant with 150,000 m³/day desalination capacity in Oman, under a 15-year power & water purchase agreement, including the project company’s exit from bankruptcy proceedings and associated amendments to the financing terms and the debt reallocation among creditors.
- Advised on the Barka II Independent Water and Power Project (IWPP), a project-financed transaction for a 678 MW gas-fired power plant and 120,000 m³/day desalination facility in Oman, under a long-term power and water purchase agreement.
